TV shows like Mad Men have returned the decanter to its proper place in many home bars. Rather than pouring straight from the labeled bottle, pouring into a decanter gives an air of mystery and a much classier feel to even the most affordable hooch. There’s a problem with those old-timey decanters, though: They were often made with glass that included lead, and that would leach out into your spirits over time. And that’s downright dangerous.

Whiskey Peaks is reviving the decanter for the modern day, sans lead. And they’re doing it in style, too — with a hand-blown design that includes a mountain range in the bottom of each bottle. It’s as gorgeous as it is functional, and deserving of a place of honor on your home bar.
